The Chief Editor has the formal responsibility for SHAJ, leading the ET meetings together with the Managing Editor as Secretary, assigning editors for individual manuscripts in collaboration with the Managing Editor, and liaising with the Editorial Board.
The Co-Editors will share responsibilities with the Chief Editor for the development and running of SHAJ, by handling individual manuscripts and communicating with reviewers. Each submitted manuscript will be assigned by the Managing Editor to one of the co-editors, who will be responsible for pre-review and guiding the manuscript through the peer-review process. Final decisions on submitted manuscripts will be taken jointly by ET members.
