This first issue of the Nordic Journal on Law and Society (NJOLAS) is dedicated to the theme of gender in the Artic. The articles are the result of research carried out by members of a transnational, socio-legal and interdisciplinary network on gender studies on women’s every-day life in Arctic and Northern Regions.
Together, the articles form a socio-legal contribution to fill an identified knowledge gap about gender equality in the Arctic and in the geopolitics of Arctic.
